CONTEXTE DE LA FORMATION
This training block is part of a doctoral training offered within the Cocoso Doctoral Network (Co-construction in the field of Social Welfare -
https://cocoso.parisnanterre.fr). Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions programme, the Cocoso project promotes participation and co-construction as essential elements of democracy and innovation in social welfare. It focuses on providing training and conducting doctoral research to meet the growing need for meaningful and efficient citizen engagement in social services and policies. Cocoso brings together 6 universities and 15 partners from the non-governmental and public sectors across Europe. The research will develop evidence-based knowledge and innovative methods for effective implementation.
This training is open to doctoral students from Université Paris Nanterre who are interested in gaining new skills in implementing social change through their doctoral research.
OBJECTIFS
- meet with an international group of doctoral students
- implement co-construction and participation strategies
OUTILS ET MÉTHODOLOGIE PÉDAGOGIQUE
Sessions will build on input from experienced stakeholders. Participants will have opportunities to reflect and further develop their own doctoral projects in the light of these insights. Trainers will lead this reflection in order to support the implementation of co-construction through research.

- Wednesday 10th December 1.30 – 4 pm: Networking and preparing community events, Adriano Fernandes (SCMA) and Ana Radulescu, International Federation of Social Workers
- Thursday 11th December 10 am -12.30 pm: Peer advocacy in child protection, James Goulding (UK), Hélène Join-Lambert (CREF, UPN)
- Wednesday 17th December 1.30-4 pm : Participative actions with social care experienced citizens, Claire d’Hennezel, Agence Nouvelle des Solidarités Actives.
